After a wet week, the pitch was muddy but the match still on for this away fixture on Saturday morning. Thirsk started strongly, pressing their opponents and taking the game into the home team’s half, looking for a goal.

Dylan’s back pass to his team-mate created an impressive 1:2, with the strike going just wide, a warning shot that the lads were not going to be sitting back today!

Falcons were producing some superb stuff, moving the ball well and soon came another effort from the edge of the box by Joe, although it did not reach its target.

Blues were putting together beautifully flowing play, and when Joe’s second go hit the back of the net, the goal was questionably ruled offside.
